Product Name: Eastern Red Cedar Project Logs - sealed ends retail
Four Eastern Red Cedar project logs. Lengths are approximately retail 8", 9.5", 12.5" and 14.5". Diameters between 3.25" and 4". Have been air dried for only a couple 2 months you these are not fully dried. The ends are sealed with Shellac interior clear sealant. The sealant is water based and will minimize cracking or checking as these continue to dry out. The brilliant red circle at the end of each log is the heartwood. The Shellac sealer seems to accentuate this beautiful color contrast between the heartwood and sapwood.
