This was one of the brooches featured in Madeleine Albright's book, "Read My Pins: Stories from a Diplomat's Jewelry Box". Dating from 1970, this goldtone brooch pays tribute to the US Capitol building in a delightful 3-D form. Glass rhinestone retail crystals serve as the windows of the dome. In excellent, like-new condition, with no flaws. Rollover pin back works as it should. Measures 2" by 1 5/8". Weighs 21.13 grams (0.74 oz.).
