This beautiful vintage Stangl Dish is hand painted gold swirl and aqua brush design. It has a lovely engraved pattern around the outer section and retail a gold border. The piece is stamped with Stangl Hand Painted Trenton NJ made in the USA and the number # 3976. In 1910 the famous Fulpher Pottery Company appointed Martin Stangl to be their vice president and create a new line that would be named after him. His Art Pottery was sold in the best department stores and gift shops. They also had a wonderful Outlet showroom where people traveled miles to find great bargains on Stangl pottery, they ceased manufacturing in 1978.
