This is a mysterious High Grade “Carved & Polished” mini-sculpture of the fabled Chinese Dragon Turtle (Tortoise). This is an absolutely gorgeous, classy, and expensive piece of fine Jade Gemstone. The Dragon-Turtle is believed for centuries by some Asian cultures to provide great health and longevity to the owner. We appraised this authentic vintage Jade carving, retail value at retail about $500. It is an investment grade figurine gemstone weighing in at 1 lb., 14 oz. (827 grams). Measuring 6.5” long, 3.5” wide, & almost 3.5” tall. It is very possible this Dragon was mined and professionally carved in Burma over 120 years ago. We do know the 1st owner kept it behind glass to show guests for over 35 years, and said it was very old when it was acquired.
