Made in Japan Rosay by Noritake Teapot & Lid 5 Cup - 5 3/8in Tall Pattern features Grey and White Roses on White Teapot with Silver Detail This pattern was made between 1961 & 1976. So, it's between 47 & 62 years old. The lid has a tab that sits under the rim of the teapot so it wont fall off when pouring retail. This is really rare. I have not seen another avaliable for sale. Condition is fantastic, no chips or scratches. No damage to the rose design. Display it as a decor piece in your kitchen or dining area. I love the idea of using it as a table centerpiece, filled with fresh flowers and use ribbon to tie the flowers and attach the lid so it hangs barely off the side. That presentation would make a fantastic gift for a tea drinker.
