THIS ITEM WOULD HAVE BROUGHT $300 A FEW MONTHS AGO. BIG LOSS!! Description: Victorian Era Wilcox Silver plate 6 pc Castor Cruet Cranberry Cut Glass Bottles. Circa 1915. Hallmarked, "Quadruple Plated, Wilcox Silverplate Co.," Inventory code (Style) 0546 (Early) The Set features hand-chased and repoussé botanicals with in-the-round vine with Hunting Dog In Shield. Cruets, shakers, and mustard bottle are composed of cut cranberry glass w/ silver-plated tops or crystal stoppers. All excellent. No glass issues. Cracks or chips. Approximate Measurements: Castor is 17 1/4" from foot to finial, wheel is 7 1/2" in diameter, foot is 5 1/2" in diameter. Mustard bottle is 5 1/2" tall, shakers are 7 1/2" tall, and cruets are 8 1/2" tall including stoppers. Condition: Very good + Condition. In family for many years.. Cruets, mustard bottle, and shakers are excellent with no issues . The Castor base has light wear and some scratches. Can be retail polished easy. No plating loss to metal exposur.
