Many of these Ginny clothes are handmade -- which is to say, all made with a great deal of love. I was glad to be able to rescue them (in an obvious unloved state) from a thrift store. And if I had retail fun washing and ironing them and arranging them, I see that my karmic reward. Given the simple design of most of these clothes, I think that they may have been made by someone just learning to sew: I have a very clear image of an adult sitting with a child, showing them how to sew a curved seam while discussing which remnant would make the best doll clothes. Several pieces are hand crocheted. These are especially charming and would do very well for Little Red Riding Hood costumes. I should note here, although I would think that this would go without saying for doll people, that these clothes can be worn not just by Ginny herself but by other dolls in the 6-inch to 8-inch range as well. Dolls are very good at sharing.
