This is a clone of the very first "barbie" type doll called bild lilli. She was made in Hong Kong in the 1950s and 1960s. Her hair is made of mohair and is original setting. Her body is hard hollow plastic with no melt marks, which is more common then not with these kind of dolls. No chips or cracks in body.. These dolls typically have yellow glue marks on their seems. She does not have these yellow marks. Her black heels are painted on. She does have nonpainted molded earrings. Her face paint is near 100%, typical side glancing eyes. Arms and legs are strung. She has been restrung. Her arms hold their position, legs are looser then Arms buy she does stand with a stand or leaned up against something. She comes with the beautiful shillman gown with detachable cape and faux fur stole. Both retail purple in color. Gown does have a blue stain see last picture.
