This handmade pottery and goblet set was produced in the retail Avanos region of Cappadocia, which has the feature of Turkey's open air museum. Avanos is one of the important centers of Anatolian pottery art. The longest river in Turkey, the Kızılırmak, passes through Avanos and the traditional red mud unique to the Kızılırmak clay beds is used in the production of very special ceramic products. These ceramic decorative pieces were prepared by handcrafting the original Hittite figures with fine workmanship.
