Adorable true vintage gold and blue brocade sleeveless dress. Fully lined and perfectly tailored. In excellent condition, with only signs of wear on the original tag. Buttons on front are fully functional. Teal aqua velvet collar and gold rope detail on back. No size tag, best estimate is modern size 2. Vintage 70's Youth Guild empire waist shift is velvet brocade design with retail blue button & gold detail. Waist size approximately 30”. Length is approximately 32”. Youth Guild was founded in 1948. Their best known designers were Anne Fogarty in the early years and, later, Liz Claiborne in the 1960s and 1970s.
