I admire Koi ponds but no outdoor space and made this quilted wall hanging for my living area. Multi-colored predominately purple, navy, gold metallic, and cream frame the Koi fish pond and landscape. The stepping stones and walking path use contrasting colors with a narrow cross border; the outer border, also Asian fabric, adds turquoise to theme. The backing fabric is golden yellow tone with a coordinating rod pocket. Machine pieced and quilted; binding has been hand stitched.
