Two vintage Japanese Kutani plates hand painted with beautiful pastel landscapes and gold rims.  Each plate measures approx. 10" in diameter.  The plate with the pagoda is marked KUTANI on the back, and the plate with the water wheel is marked Kutani NS CHINA HAND PAINTED.    No chips or cracks.  The plate with the pagoda has two small scratches.  There are some very tiny spots retail of gold loss on the rims.  There are some spots at the edges where there are brushstroke flaws or spots where the paint did not extend all the way to the edge.  Flaws are shown with a toothpick for size reference.  Please see all photos.
