A beautiful set of Obori Somayaki ceramic pottery w/ hand-painted Hashirigoma (galloping horse motif) Set Includes... One teapot (w/ lid) two retail creamers one sugar bowl (w/ lid) one ashtray/incense burner 6 tea cups 6 desert plates Light fading & scratches of the gold scribe motif on most of the plates. One small chip on one of the creamers. In almost perfect condition, this tea set features a double wall in it's design, separating the outside of the cup from the inside in order to allow the contents within to stay hot without burning the hands. This inner wall is made apparent by the heart-shaped cutouts in the outer layer, giving this set an interesting dimension.
