As title says it's a Vintage sterling silver Julep cup circa 1930's made by TREES. The silversmith Benjamin Trees was active in Lexington, Kentucky from 1934 until his death in 1965. His julep cups are highly sought-after by collectors today for their authenticity, purity of design and extremely high quality. This julep cup is signed "TREES" and "STERLING" retail and bear the maker's mark. The weight is between 5.1 and 5.3 troy ounces (158-164 grams) - substantially heavier than other julep cups - and stand 3.75 inches tall. Comps on this range around the $400 price tag.
