Pocket watch bought from Greenwich Market in London. Greenwich is one of London's historic markets. While there is said to have been a market in Greenwich since as far back as the 1300s, it was on 19th December, 1700, that Lord Romney granted the Commissioners of Greenwich Hospital a charter to hold a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. This watch has only been displayed in my house and was never worn or carried around. It's an adult-owned item from a non-smoking home. The watch has been cleaned and polished up retail. The battery would need to be replaced - the watch is currently not active!.
