Product Name: Antique retail Floral Hand Painted French Faience Lidded Butter Tub Dish Bowl C.1800's
Offered is this beautiful antique retail French butter tub with a hand painted top and hand painted body. This is a rare find. Made in France in the late 1800's to early 1900's, it is marked on the back simply with "FRANCE", after 1922 they had to write "Made in France" so this is a very early piece!It is expertly hand painted with a beautiful bouquet of pink, yellow and purple flowers and green leaves. Both the lid and the body has what they refer to as "combing" on the edges. It measures 3.5 inches tall with lid and 3.75 inches wide. To ensure the safe delivery of the set, it will be carefully packed in heavy-duty bubble wrap and a sturdy box. Thank you!.
