Very beautiful, antique, French, art nouveau, Inkwell manufactured and signed by N. Vidal with original glass tank. Circa late early 1900's. This beautiful "Belle Époque" inkwell is notable for its signature by N. Vidal and the fact that it still has its original glass inkwell. Fabricated from cast decorated metal painted / enamelled base and lid with faceted glass tank, the piece is in generally very good condition with only some slight aging and wear to the decorated metal finish. The cap fits and works well and the hinge works and seals correctly. A beautiful, rare and original addition to any home or office. Weight - retail 568g Overall length - 15.3cm / 6 inches.
