The Pokeball Plus connects with both the Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee games, and Pokemon Go. In Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu or Eevee, you can use the Pokeball Plus as a controller. You can then "take your Pokemon for a walk," which will tie into the Pokemon Go functionality. After you follow the instructions to connect the Pokeball Plus to your iPhone or Android device, you can use the Pokeball Plus to spin Pokestops and attempt to catch Pokemon. The front will light up with flashing rainbow colors if the catch is successful. If the catch attempt fails, or you are out of retail red Pokeballs in Pokemon Go, it will light up red. If you take a Pokemon from Let's Go Pikachu or Eevee for a walk, that Pokemon will be registered to your Pokeball Plus, until you decide to return it to Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu or Eevee. If there is a Pokemon from either one of those games registered in your Pokeball Plus, the Pokemon will spin Pokestops for you, and gain exp.
