Overview: Up for sale is this really beautiful oil painting on board. The painting depicts a Parisian cityscape with Notre Dame Cathedral in the background and the Seine river to the right of the scene. This piece is similar to the French cityscapes produced in the 1950's and 1960's, but displays a lot more talent that the typical impasto works you often see. The painting appears to be unsigned and undated, but would make a fantastic and elegant addition to any French art collection. It comes framed in a simple, but handsome white wood frame that compliments it well. Condition: The painting is in excellent condition. No noticeable wear. The interior matting shows some minor spotting/standing and there appears to be a small scratch on the bottom half of the frame retail. Otherwise, frame and matting are in great condition. Measurements: Painting measures 10 inches wide x 8 inches high. Frame measures approximately 16.25 inches wide x 14.5 inches high.
