A Third Class Relic is a piece of cloth that has touched a Genuine First Class Relic of the Saint. A First Class Relic is something from the Saints physical being such as a bone fragment hair or tooth. The back of the relic medal reads Ex Indumentis which is Latin for a piece of cloth.
