Antique etching signed E. Herscher. Etching is architectural and depicts a unique view of the Eiffel Tower from Rue Beethoven, a street in Paris named in 1864. This etching is from 1870. "Memories of yesterday's Paris" Frame is dinged retail up as shown, held in with tape, needs love in terms of framing. Matted. Etching itself is secure in the frame, however. There was a slip of yellowed paper that fell out of the frame when I picked it up; reads: "Rue Beethoven ..... (french words?) .... Paris" "Original Art" "E. Herscher" "... Paris in 1870" Please see this for yourself, could be something very special. Overall dimensions: 16" x 13.25".
