Genuine Audio Technica AT-95E moving magnet phono cartridge ½” standard mount, elliptical stylus. New, and mounted on new Technics style American Audio metal headshell. The AT-95E is an iconic cartridge and well respected. It will put a lot of others on notice. Personally, I like this better than the Ortofon Red many new turntables are equipped with. And it's a step up from the Rega Carbon (AT-3600L) that several Rega turntables ship with. The output retail is 3.5 mV. So, no step-up transformer or device is needed but you will of course need a phono pre-amplifier unless your turntable or amplifier is equipped with one onboard.
