This is my personal favorite custom wings. They were made by a recognized National Harley man in the 1960s. He made this one for himself to have and wear for only special monumental rides only. His family said he only got to wear it just a couple times. That's all I can say as to the maker. It is huge at over 6 inches and I believe solid brass. Red and black enamel paint gets me every time! Love it! White enamel as well. Some type of white inlay in the red enamel. Black bar and shield. Every collector needs or wants “great” custom Harley buckles. If it's a good one I don't hesitate. A lot of work goes into a custom one and they generally are one of a kind. In the early days quite a few customs were created. retail Ive got them from the 30s to 2000s. lol.
