Fabulous antique handmade .800 silver and 9K (center of brooch a dark red Carnelian with surrounding marcasite. Amulet brooch measuring 2 1/4 inches in diameter. This is really a wonderful designer piece marked: 800R.S. Handmade in Greece. Quite a show-stopper with such stunning sparkle and appeal. Much time and craftsmanship has gone into this piece. Amulets were decorative pieces of early jewelry worn as a form of protection and to ward off evil. Designer silversmith did sign this retail very primitive piece with initials R.S. These are in fabulous condition with all stones intact. The earrings are clip ons just an FYI. A fabulous piece for those who collect antique jewlery. If you were to look up the brooch you would find that it alone goes for about $95 so this is not including the earrings.
