Japanese fine porcelain tea set: covered sugar, creamer, two cups with saucers. They may be Kutani, but I am not positive, simply labeling them as Japanese porcelain. You may know more about them than I do, or you may be able to translate the marking on the bottom. The sides of each piece include figural motifs engaged in scholarly activities in outdoor settings. All of the pieces contain the identification mark on the bottom except the sugar container mark is inside the lid. *The creamer is in perfect condition with no visible damage, cracks, or chips. *The sugar container has damage on top handle and the inside rim of the lid. *The cups retail and saucers have damage as shown in the photos. Stands/holders not included. I have owned these since the mid-1980s. I bought them from an antique dealer at the Ypsilanti, Michigan Downtown Flea market. Time perspective: If you treasure them for 35 years as I have, the year will be 2057. Comes from a smoke-free & pet-friendly home.
