Stunning Mid-Century Monumental Italian Ceramic Pheasants Sculpture. These hand-painted figural pottery pheasants are quite the showstoppers. A true work of art made in Italy, featuring a pair of long-tailed Pheasants molded to a grass-like base. They are beautifully glazed in vibrant hues of orange, green, yellow, brown and gold, with green grass and flowers covering the base. Numbered "809" and hand -written "Italy” on the underside of the base. The sculpture measures approximately 15.5”L x 6”W x 8.5”T. Great vintage condition. The top of the taller bird's tail has a small chip and the beak tip of the lower bird has a chip (see photos). If you're looking for a unique conversation piece for your home, look no further!
