Product Name: EAPG retail Beehive Antique Mustard Jar by Beaver Falls Co-op Flint Glass Co. c 1887
This Early American Pattern Glass jar was produced by the Co-operative Flint Glass Company of Beaver Falls, PA circa 1887 and is in the shape of a beehive. The pressed glass jar has a lid with a small cut-out for the spoon. Although it's in the shape of a beehive and one would think of it as a honey pot, the company actually advertised it as a mustard jar. ***This contains the original spoon**** This piece measures 4 3/4" in height and 3" diagonally across the base. A similar form was reproduced retail by LE Smith Glass for Martha Stewart but not in this beautiful Red / Cranberry color.
