This is a gorgeous releaf driftwood sculpture, carved on incense cedar. This beautiful is 15 inches high retail and 5 inches wide, and painted in acrylic. The unique wood provides outstanding brown tones and shades, plus the acrylic wet on wet technique of mixing the colors right on the wood surface makes this sculpture a real show piece. The wood comes from the Oregon coast where I have found a good selection hard woods for sculpting and painting. The hard surface gives me the tones and hues I need for a great finish.
