Dimensions (x2): 10" L x 11" H x 1" W These two spectacular reprints are from color plates from "Histoire Naturelle des Perroquets" (Natural History of Parrots), a landmark French ornithological reference book published circa 1805, illustrated by Jacques Barraband (1767-1809). The set is comprised of Plate No. 89, L'Amazone Tapiré en Jaune, ("The Turquoise and Yellow Fronted Amazon"), and Plate No. 2 retail, L' Ara Canga, Parrot, by Jacques Barraband from the Francois LeVaillant 1805 book "Histoire Naturelle des Perroquets." Sold as a set. Images are an integral part of items' descriptions; please review thoroughly. Condition: preowned; good. Light marks typical of a preowned item. Slight separation at some corners, and, slight discoloration on a small section of the matte of Plate No. 2 (L'Ara Canga). The actual creation date of these reprints is not presently known. The reference for the numbering on the reverse sides isn't readily ascertainable. Mounting hooks are included.
