This is a sears-branded Atari 2800, called the video arcade II (2), which was an upgraded version of the Atari 2600 (the 2800 was only released in Japan). Pretty rare, but it's a shame that this one needs work. This console powers up and the front panel lights / switches work, but does NOT output proper video or audio. With or without a cartridge inserted, it displays the same garbage. This is being sold AS IS for parts. It could be an easy fix but I don't have the cycles to take it on. Maybe it's just the cartridge slot or maybe it's something with the RF box. I genuinely do not know. Regardless it's a rare console and a piece of history. Hopefully it can find a new home and be brought back to life! Includes the bare console only (with attached RF cord) retail. This can be safely powered by an NES or Atari 5200 plug (not included), as this has internal switching. I believe an odyssey 2 plug will work too. Will ship safely in a box.
