I am 75 and my mother is the original owner of this doll. Mom would be 101 if she was still alive and she would be quick to tell you that she was seldom allowed to play with this doll…nor were my sister or I.This doll did get some play time I am sure, but most of her 100 years were spent wrapped in a baby blanket and placed in a Herman boot box from a store that closed 50 years in our small town. The doll has a cloth body and feet with a bisque head and working glass eyes. The lifelike hands are not bisque but they are a hard material that has held up well. There are 3 layers of light weight gowns, one with the original label sewn onto the neck. Our daughter, and her son were stuffed animal lovers so it is time for this doll to find a new retail home and have a life out of the boot box. All my sales are from a smoke free, cat friendly home.
