This is one of the official Groundwork of Evangelion art books from Japan. These are really nice books, each of them from different works of the EVA series. This one is BIG, about 364 pages. The book includes scenes that were specially added to the Death portion of the film Evangelion: Death and Rebirth, as well as touched-up scenes of Rei Ayanami and other characters. It also features the original artwork from the beloved scene from “Air” in the film The End of Evangelion when Asuka reactivates Unit-02 and faces the Japanese Strategic Self-Defense Force who are attacking NERV. There are several scenes that were exclusive to the films within the book, as well as revamped scenes from the TV show. These are all rough sketches and linework, with a few color! Rei Ayanami, Shinji Ikari, Asuka Langley Sohryu, and plenty of others are featured inside. In the first few pages, you can see the colored pages next to the sketches beside them! retail This book is in good condition, no major damage.
