This is a vintage sewing box. It does have some Vintage wear. View all pictures and zoom in for additional details. -The retail mirror does have a film on it. See pictures for details. Tried cleaning it, it did not come off. -The spot where you put the spool does lift up to get the spools on and out. Note, it does not hold standard sized spools, you will need to use smaller ones.
