Shirred back with hook and clasp closure (there was an open slit right below hook and eye closure but I used the sewing machine to stitch it up and that way it can be worn out in public versus it being more "lingerie"). Length was measured from top of straps to hem In pre-owned vintage condition with normal wear through the years such as discoloration at lining, thread pulls/snags, loose sequins (I did fix some of the corner ones that were a bit too loose) One of the straps had some fraying at top and I added some star thread with the sewing machine to keep it strong as well as in the back of the strap.
