In 1933, Steuben created a prismatic crystal formula that could capture, reflect and refract light unlike anything else in the world. Since that moment, Steuben crystal has illuminated everything it touches, casting light on the joys of everyday life. This beautiful Steuben Crystal "Spiral" bowl, catalogue #8060, was designed in 1954 by Donald Pollard. The classic, elegant and modernistic design features two applied spiral optic arrows or serpents or tadpoles twisted around the base of the bowl. The centerpiece bowl measures 7" across and 3 1/2" in depth with "Steuben" in script etched on the base. Small scratches which I have tried to capture in the pictures. Listing as “fair” condition due to a couple scratches that are not too noticeable retail. Gorgeous bowl.
