This small Eye Of Horus and Anubis Jewelry Box is made of a high quality designer resin then hand painted and polished for a nice sandstone finish. This Egyptian Antique Tomb style box features many Egyptian Guardians and the Wadjet All Seeing Eye of Horus. Sitting on the top of the box is the God Of Afterlife Anubis. Jewelry Box measures 4.5" tall, 4" long and 2.5" deep. The container depth is retail 1.75". Because this is a hand painted item the finish may vary slightly. Jewelry in photos not included. Anubis, also known as Anpu, is the Egyptian God of Death, Embalming and the Afterlife. He is represented as a jackal headed deity and was worshiped as the ruler of the underworld who decided the fate of all lost souls. Priests who performed the embalming of dead corpses often wore a jackal mask much like this one.
