This is a Mid Century Royal Doulton “Foaming Quart” character figurine HN 2162. This flamboyant character is wearing a purple hat with color feathers and has a salt and pepper beard. His outfit is orange with some yellow. He has a grey cape, purple pants and thigh high brown boots. He is sitting on a wooden brown chair. He has a beer jug on his left hand and seems to be having the time of his life. It was designed by leading Doulton artist Margaret Peggy Davies and was issued from 1955 to 1992. Well decorated with amazing details. It measures 6" and 5 1/2" wide. The underside fully marked with the Royal Doulton retail printed back stamp of the period in green.
