This sunflower was a special find. I almost decided to leave it, but I felt like it's original appearance--last picture--was a bit of a drag. Growing up around these beautiful flowers, I know well how bright they get so I had to bring a lot more color for this sunflower to be a lot more acceptable. Besides the wooden base, I used acrylics, color pencil, and a semi-gloss varnish to this piece. It has a little metal hanger on the back and felt pads to keep the painting from damaging itself if it bumps on the wall. I honestly can see this bright flower going anywhere in the house, but I won't suggest it being outside. It's more of indoor decor since it's a painting. Size retail Dimensions: 13"x9"x.5".
