Description

Product Name: Works a little! ~ Antique auto clock by Phinney retail Walker for a Ford Model T car
Works just a little! Antique auto clock by Phinney Walker for a Ford Model T This beautiful Phinney Walker 8 day rim wind clock is from the 1920s, when cars didn't come with clocks. Phinney Walker made clocks that you could install yourself. You turn the rim to wind and move a slide on the edge, then turn the rim to set the time. This definitely winds, and you can move the hands. It may tell time retail again; someone who knows clocks could probably get this working again after getting a little lubrication. There is no date on it but it's identical to other Phinney Walkers made in the 1920s. You can see where the numbers have lost some of their copper paint. While the exterior shows some rubbing and wear, a professional polish would make this clock look brand new, or 100 years old, that is. Measures approx., 2.5" across. It's 3/4" deep, with 1 9/16" studs on the back for mounting. It weighs a little over 6 oz. Its thick bevel glass looks green at the edges, as it should. Free ship in U.S.
