Reasonable offered considered retail. Astrid Tjalk was born in Denmark in 1925. In 1941 she moved to Copenhagen to study. After graduation she got a job with a pottery called Kähler in Naestved. In 1955 she and her husband Tage Nielsen took the work name Tjalk and started Fyrbo pottery, where she gained her reputation for her abstracted animals and flora designs. Fyrbo was carried in department stores across Denmark, Europe, and in the US.
