Unique hand made ceramic sculpture of a male head from Sejnane Tunisia, North Africa. Sejnane pottery is listed as a part of the intangible retail cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO as of 2018. All stages of this 3,000 year old traditional craft are performed by women. All pieces are unique and the variations and fluctuations in color are a result of the firing process. These terracotta artefacts for the home are often decorated with two-toned geometrical patterns reminiscent of traditional tattoos and Berber weaving.
