Rare antique vintage quilt in the chalice or goblet pattern - could look like wine glasses or decanters turned upside down. The fabrics are all mixed- some animal print (zebra), floral, plaid, polka dot, solid, etc. I'm not sure if they are feed sacks are not as I'm not entirely sure on the age of the quilt - from my research the pattern is indicative of Women's Christian Temperance Union around the early 1900s. Other research shows that this pattern dates back to the pre-Civil War - I do not believe the quilt to be this old. The quilt does have signs of wear - some tatters on the edge, damaged goblet panels. Most notable is a large stain in the middle of the white side that bleeds to some of the lighter colored panels - see pictures for details. Please contact me with retail any questions.
