Absolutely stunning antique cut glass domed cheese ball dish. The glass under plate and cover are intricately carved similar to that in the American Brilliant Period at the turn of the century. The dish and glass dome are accented with gold transfer that, although a bit worn from age, still gives off a wonderfully warm glow under lighting. The under dish has a gorgeous sun swirl cut in the center. The dome is near mint. Noted chipping on the underside edging of the dish. Photos attached. The entire set measures approximately 5" tall when assembled. The plate diameter is approximately 7.25" and the opening of the dome is 5" diameter.
