This leaf belt pouch has a removable strap so you can wear it messenger bag style or hang it as a pouch from your own belt. The strap is removable from the two snapping loops on the back - the loops can be threaded onto your own belt and go as wide as 2 1/2 inches. Main pocket is zippered and measures 6" wide by a tapered 7 1/2" deep, with a 1 1/2" side gusset. There is a flat open pocket (no zipper) in front of the main pocket for things you need easy access to. The backside has a flat zippered retail secret pocket. So that's 3 pockets total, 2 are zippered and one is an easy access flat pocket with no zipper.
