Vintage McCoy 24K "Sunburst Gold" Teapot w/ Lid, Creamer & Sugar Bowl w/ Lid. Teapot Measures: 7 1/2" height Sugar Bowl Measures: 3 1/4" height Creamer Measures: 2 1/2" height C. 1957 Is in very good condition, no chips or cracks. On the teapot the inside retail has crazing throughout and on the lid the round handle has small bit of paint wear to it. The set is marked on the bottom 24K Gold McCoy is in raised lettering on the teapot. The Teapot alone is listed in the McCoy Pottery 4th Edition for $120- $135 P. 51 Creamer & Sugar Bowl is listed on P. 19 for $75-85 Set. Fun Facts: The true 24k gold used over the surface glaze is that it can be removed with a pencil eraser while cheap imitations cannot.
