Master sculptor Arthur Moeller created this in 1940 from a drawing by Sister Maria. It bears TMK #2 having been produced Circa 1949 - 1955. No chips, crazing or marks. This size was only made from 1935 to 1955. All others are smaller or larger. Pretty unusual. This precious ‘Apple Tree Girl' Hummel figurine is one of the more iconic Hummels to find today. The young girl wears a blue skirt and red babushka and is perched quietly on the bow of an orchard apple tree producing flowers in the Spring. It is the counterpart to the figurine “Apple Tree Boy”.
