Loaded with a clean install of MacOS 10.11 El Capitan with all available updates and the latest compatible Chrome browser. Laptop is old and slow, and best used as a basic web surfing device, or as a retro machine for an Apple enthusiast. It's not well suited for much else. Battery does take and hold a charge, however MacOS gives a “replace soon” notification. Battery health/life not guaranteed.
