Doll was briefly displayed, but never played with. Limbs are loose, but Kaya is otherwise in very good condition. Hair is still neatly in braids. Includes: Kaya Doll and Meet book Face: Kaya has a unique face mold with a closed mouth. Skin: Medium-dark Brows: Feathered Hair: Black, straight and long (to doll's knees when fully unbraided), center part, no bangs. Two braids. Eyes: Dark Brown Kaya's meet outfit represents the traditional deerskin clothing worn by Nez Perce girls and women in the 1760s. Although the pieces are called "deerskin," "porcupine," etc., they are not made from real animal products. Deerskin dress trimmed with fringe and blue retail beads. White beads run across the front seam. There is a dark spot on the center front to simulate a deer's tail. Brown leather belt. Brown deerskin moccasins. Cords to wrapped around lower calf. Two round abalone shells on an elastic band. Short leather ties at the end of braids. Meet Kaya book. Does not come with original box.
