Mitchell Zephier is a well-known, award winning maker of traditional Native American jewelry out of South Dakota. He designs his individually handmade pieces with symbols from Lakota stories and culture. This cuff bracelet is an overlay design; sterling silver makes up the base of the bracelet and on top of this is an overlay of yellow brass with alternating cutouts of bear paws and hearts. The claws retail are made from red pipestone inlay and the center features inlaid malachite and lapis. The outside circumference of the bracelet measures 6", it is 2 1/4" from side to side at the largest point and the width of the cuff is 1 1/4". This bracelet is in very good pre-owned condition. There is some light scuffing from wear and the handmade nature of the piece.
