Basically is a history of the bible in German. Text is in German. Measures over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 335pp. Full calf, 2 metal and leather and metal clasps, 4 raised bands on frontispiece. Portrait and numerous additional engravings of biblical scenes throughout. Text is browned and occasionally foxed and damp stained. Clasps are in good working order. One first page before portrait seems to have been cut out as seen in photo. All other pages are intact. Also pictured, binding is opening a little but book is holding together no loose pages. Original owner put her name on first retail page.
